Dutch roads - stripes, road markings and maximum speed
Based on the road markings is not always a clear picture on what catagory road you drive and what corresponding (speed)behavior fits in the appropriate road. Below is a statement and explanation of the road markings and an overview of the speed limit of the Dutch road for different vehicles and combination of vehicles

Always keep in mind that traffic signs - whether or not temporary - specify a different speed.

  Pulled by side stripes; maximum speed 100 km/h
Pulled by center lines; overtaking is forbidden
Green filling in the center emphasizes that the speed limit is 100 km/h

Which road users can be expected here:
Allowed: cars, trucks and motorcycles
Not allowed: Agricultural vehicles, microcars, moped riders, cyclists and pedestrians
